Reviews of Professional Wall Hanger Pro 11 Foot Drywall Lift

1.) Does the Job

I hang a fair amount of drywall and have rented lifts in the past. This is as good as anything I rented. This is heavy duty and does the job. Don't let the price fool you.

2.) Great tool for the money!!!
Reviewed by: K. Brickner Findlay, Ohio USA

I just purchased this item after doing my research on drywall jacks. If you go with a "name brand" jack, you will be spending a minimum of $700. I think that is a little high. I just used my to finish my basement ceilings, and it worked wonderfully. The one option I wish this item had (maybe the expensive ones due) is that the jack doesn't lock into a tilted position when putting the drywall on the jack. This doesn't create a very big problem, but would be nice to have. Other than that, I can't complain with the quality of the product and the price paid. Remember, this is a big piece of equipment and won't fit into narrow places like bathrooms.

3.) Professional Wal-Hanger Pro
Reviewed by: J. Bell

Was well pleased with the Wall-Hanger Pro. Easy to assemble and top notch quality in design. I was looking for something that I could use by myself and this was my answer. This piece of equipment was evrything promised. I would buy again from this company. Speedy processing and friendly e-mails to keep you in touch with travel and delivery of your item.

4.) Do it Yourself Basement Remodel

In the process of finishing a 1,800 square ft basement. The product came within five days. Set up was completed in five minutes. This is a very heavy duty peice of equipment that is easy to use. Many times I placed the drywall on the device, cut it and wheeled it to the location for proper installment.

No complaints with this piece of equipment. Although I paid $99 for the unit and $77 for shipping. The equipment plus the shipping is still below many other drywall hangers that I priced in stores and on line.

Cant go wrong.

5.) Very professional

This product is very heavy duty. Shipping was almost the price of the product, but the total was still a lot less than others I looked at. Now if I can just get my husband to start using it.

Great product and easy to use. Made life easier when hanging drywall. I was able to complete my DIY project with out any help using this tool. Great price too...would have cost me more to rent for the time that it took me to complete my project...plus I felt no reason to rush.

Very well satisfied with the product and espcially the price. Have used it several times and it works good. Overall, better than expected.

8.) 156 sheets of sheetrock hung @ 16 feet
Reviewed by: Roz'E Moses Lake, Wa.
Rating:
I purchased two of these units to hang 12 foot long sheets of sheet rock. Glad I did get two, since the support frame is pretty flexable and the sheet will waffle on just one jack; some what unsafe. With two - tools, a 4 X 12' sheet is pretty stable and is much more easily manuvered into place. These were a life saver. My two helpers love them and don't have to break their backs holding up the sheet. Two persons can hang sheet rock all day long, safely, with this tool. They could have a lock in the vertical position, as mensioned in one other review. This would be a big plus. The existing lock on the horizontial position - we didn't use and was pretty much worthless, since the wieght of the sheet keeps it flat. All in all a good tool and recomend this one.

9.) drywall hoist
Reviewed by: crew of one houston, tx
Rating:
I purchased this hoist from Discount Tommy's through Amazon. When it arrived, it was missing a few parts. I contacted Discount Tommy's, they apologized and sent out the parts I needed. This hoist works great when you have only one person hanging drywall on the ceiling and walls and you have room to maneuver.

10.) Prof. Drywall Hanger - 11 ft
Reviewed by: handy gramps Hart, GA USA
Rating:
Works well for occasional use. The rubber caps rub on the paper leaving as occasional black smear, there are easy remedies. Assembly and use were trouble free for ceiling and upper wall board. There does not seem to be repair parts available when looking at the available paperwork. A real muscle saver and time saver if you plan on doing more than one room in the future, especially for the over the hill gang.

11.) save your back
Reviewed by: Edward Norkus West Berlin, NJ USA
Rating:
Facing the prospect of hanging 30 sheets of drywall on a 24' X 40' ceiling I felt that the investment in the Professional Wall Hanger Pro was a good choice and it lived up to my expectations. The lift assembled with a minimum of fuss and loading and lifting the drywall into position was quick and easy, and was accomplished with just 2 individuals, as an accomplished DIYer I was impressed by how quickly we finished the ceiling.

This product works as advertised and takes the hard work out of hanging drywall--especially ceilings!

13.) Will work in a pinch!
Reviewed by: Citizens Bank
Rating:
The lift is good for the one time use of remodeling my home. Unfortunately the place I ordered it from waited three days to notify me that the lift I wanted to buy was out of stock and they had to send a different one. I was reimbursed the difference but the lift didn't get there as was promised. Now my project was put on hold for a minute. Somewhat irritated with the purchase, but the price was right.
